Auserdem will ich Wenn schon Android dann weitgehend Googlefrei. Das FP6 müsste also mit /e os oder so kommen. #fairphone #FuriPhone #googlefree

I agree with the rest of the post (own your domain!), but I don’t think this is sound advice. Majority of people have no time administering their server (especially email server), so this is discarded as a lunacy, and people stay with their GMail. Promote paid-for services, where users are customers, not a product to be sold (e.g., I just switched to #Fastmail and I cannot be more happy; of course, there are others).

Today I used my free no ad Tuta email account to sign into my non-AI enhanced Vivaldi Browser. I reset the default search to searxng. I am also planning on buying an cellphone loaded with the grapheneOS off of ebay.

The Register · As major web browser makers snuggle up to AI, these skeptical holdouts remainBy Thomas Claburn

I am totally into degoogling my life. BUt I am getting off all social networks but those on the fediverse. Of course II haven't had cable for the last 30 years . I never log into YouTube any more. I removed all AI from anything I am using. I use a stripped down version of windows and Linux on my PC's. For the Media, Facebook, Politicians, OS manufacturers you are the product. It is all downhill from here. #degoogle #linux #politics #Google

Freund*innen/Familie) triggern.

GitLabNulide / FindMyDevice · GitLabFind your device and control it remotely. Works over SMS, instant messengers, or FMD Server's web interface. A secure open source alternative to Google's Find My Device.

Nuclear Vault | InvidiousDuck And Cover (1951) Bert The TurtleDuck and Cover staring Bert the Turtle is a 1951 Civil Defense Film Written by Raymond J. Mauer and directed by Anthony Rizzo of Archer Productions and made with the help of schoolchildren from New York City and Astoria, New York, it was shown in schools as the cornerstone of the government's "duck and cover" public awareness campaign. According to the United States Library of Congress (which declared the film "historically significant" and inducted it for preservation into the National Film Registry in 2004), it "was seen by millions of schoolchildren in the 1950s." Duck and Cover lyrics: There was a turtle by the name of Bert and Bert the turtle was very alert; when danger threatened him he never got hurt he knew just what to do... He'd duck! And cover! Duck! And cover! (male) He did what we all must learn to do (male) You (female) And you (male) And you (deeper male) And you!' Duck, and cover!' Film production started in 1951 and it gained its first public screening in January 1952 during the era after the Soviet Union began nuclear testing in 1949 and the Korean War (1950–53) was in full swing. Funded by the US Federal Civil Defense Administration, it was written by Raymond J. Mauer, directed by Anthony Rizzo of Archer Productions, narrated by actor Robert Middleton and made with the help of schoolchildren from New York City and Astoria, New York. It was shown in schools as the cornerstone of the government's "duck and cover" public awareness campaign, being aired to generations of United States school children from the early 1950s until 1991, which marked the end of the Cold War. The US government contracted with Archer to produce Duck and Cover.
