"Can a Video game make you cry" used to be this Big Topic Of Debate, then meme. I get people who dislike "can u cry" being the measure of "it's good", but people were oddly proud of not-crying.

I like crying, sometimes. It's a feeling, I like feelings. It means I really felt something, really got into a story, it's characters. #LikeADragon Infinite Wealth made me cry, it was a good cry. Recommended

I left "crying is bad" in the trash with my other edgy teen stuff

There is satisfaction in deepening an antagonist's villainous behaviour in the edits because I know they're going to meet a sticky end.

It's a pity the same can't be said with reality.

I'm not going to TL;DR this for you, but his argument is: People are going to use AI tools for creative endeavors anyway, so we need to find ways to ethically incorporate AI content; and then he illustrates one such way for Fantasy literature.
