Started up #SystemShock yesterday and I've gotta say, I'm loving the remake so far. Planning to play the sequel later this year.
I missed the original, which was before my time, but it's already clear that #BioShock was a love letter to this game.

It's easy to see influences on other games too, specifically games like #DeusEx and #Portal.

well i finished mankind divided and when the "you have unlocked new game+" hit i said, out loud, "that's it?"
if you are not independent you really just can't make a game assuming that you will get a sequel. it just seems like it's never a good idea

Review of "Biocode" (2 stars): A Recovering Software Engineer's Review
@eniko please links to all of it. I know for you it's mildly traumatic, but I would loooooooooove some good fun.
My take is the opposite of the hypothetical authors. The fact that I have only like 1.5 games to play — #Undertale and #InvisibleInc, and maybe #DeusEx and #Thief (?!) is the legacy of white cis male fetishist #IdSoftware company and their senseless #DOOM (nb! I love #doomRL, I don't know what's wrong with me. nb! I've completed #DOOM, and I kind of liked it. But it actually contributes to the point).
The logical continuation of this were horrible, misogynistic #DukeNukem and racist #ShadowWarrior (I **loved** #ShadowWarrior as a kid, because I didn't see racism behind the veil of diversity, nor could I understand English enough to "appreciate" main character's "jokes").
Of course, certain people would miss this descent into the circles of hell (no pun intended)!
I want to live in a world where none of this have happened and Carmack was at most a hippie, not a filthy libertarian.

@stayforever Hab die Folgen schon gehört, als sie erschienen. Und nun, als Eure Xmas-Edition kam, fast neugestartet, weil in der Steam-Library noch "Human Revolutions" und "The Fall" schlummerten... Aber Steam lässt beides nicht auf Linux zu... 
Rewatching the Deus Ex: HR video from @Hbomberguy, and noticing that there is actually quite a few bicycles in this world!
I'm sure you can't actually ever use them (that would be way too awesome for such a mid game) – but still, just the fact that there are bikes at all is better than most media, it seems to me, and especially most set in such a cyberpunk-ish universe! Good on them!
Does anyone know if you can use them, or if anyone ever rides one in the background?
