Neben den winterharten Kakteen und Delosperma, stehen auch einige Agaven im Freien.
Hier die Agave utahensis v. kaibabensis auf der Terrasse. Man erkennt schon an der Größe, das ist eher etwas für den Steingarten und nicht um Tequila herzustellen. ;-)

One big downside if #Trump enacts #tariffs on #Mexican products is that it might become too expensive for me to bake using #organic #agave #nectar instead of #honey . Agave nectar is vastly superior for #baking #wheat #bread because it pours better than #honey and has a lower #glycemic #index

A variegated Agave victoriae-reginae known as “Hyōzan” (氷山) in Japan. I repotted it along with some of my other indoor agaves the other day, and it seems that caused it some stress (the purple tinging).

It’s quite pretty when stressed but I hope I didn’t screw up by repotting so late in the year. I think it should be OK because the temperature is still consistently around 20℃.
