Il terribile sottotesto è che solamente se gli ostaggi vengono rilasciati (e solamente se #BenjaminNetanyahu viene rimosso dal suo incarico), allora il bagno di sangue a Gaza può continuare senza ostacoli.
Dopo tutto, la guerra è giustificata.
Mentre molti acclamano queste lettere - lodando il loro presunto coraggio e impegno civico - è difficile non rimanere sconcertati dal fatto che nessuna di esse chieda di porre fine alla guerra innanzitutto a causa dei suoi crimini contro l'umanità e la dignità umana.
