Al-Qassam Bombard Nir Yitzhak Settlement With Rocket Barrage

The Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’ military wing, responded to the Zionist massacres against Palestinian civilians on Saturday by bombarding the Nir Yitzhak settlement in the Gaza Strip with a barrage of short-range Rajum 114 mm rockets.

Zionist media had reported three rocket launches from the Gaza Strip toward the southern Gaza Strip.

Last week, the al-Qasam Brigades announced that its fighters targeted the Zionist-occupied city of Isdud [Ashdod] with a barrage of rockets in response to the massacres of Palestinian civilians in Gaza.

Occupation media had reported sirens in the center of occupied Palestine, as well as in Askalan [Ashkelon] and Isdud [Ashdod]. Occupation media also noted that seven rockets targeted Isdud [Ashdod].

Meanwhile, the spokesperson for the Zionist military stated that ten rockets were fired from Gaza, claiming that some were intercepted.

Three settlers were reported injured in Askalan, with panic spreading among settlers and significant damage to cars, buildings, and streets due to direct hits in the occupied town, as well as in the Shefela region south of Tel Aviv.

Meanwhile, a senior Palestinian delegation from the Hamas movement is expected to arrive in Cairo today for discussions on the ceasefire in Gaza.

The Palestinian group’s delegation will discuss with Egyptian officials the latest developments in the ceasefire negotiations, a source said on Friday.

According to the senior official, new proposals have been put forward in an effort to reach a ceasefire agreement in Gaza.

Yemen Blockade Shutters Port of Eilat, Attacks US Warships and Zionist Occupied Yafa

The Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) announced that their missile and drone forces carried out a strategic joint operation targeting the American aircraft carrier deployed to the Red Sea, USS Harry S. Truman.

According to YAF spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree, Yemen’s air and missile forces launched several cruise missiles and drones targeting the USS Truman and its accompanying warships in the northern Red Sea.

The statement noted that the operation comes in response to the American aggression against Yemen and in retaliation for crimes committed against the Yemeni people.

“The enemy failed to deter Yemen’s military capabilities, as evident through the continued defensive operations,” the YAF noted, stressing that their forces would continue carrying out land and naval operations in defense of their nation.

The Armed Forces also saluted the “great Yemeni people for their honorable, massive turnout in al-Sabeen Square and all public squares, reaffirming their rejection of the American aggression and their determination to confront and resist it as a form of jihad in the path of God, fulfilling their religious, moral, and humanitarian duty toward the oppressed Palestinian people.”

“The enemy will come to realize, sooner or later, that the steadfast, resistant people of Yemen will never submit or bow to anyone but Allah, the Almighty and All-Powerful, in Whom we place our trust and from Whom we seek help,” the statement concluded.

Ansarallah attacks Zionist Occupied Yafa

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Friday the successful execution of a precision military operation carried out by its drone unit, targeting two Zionist military sites in the occupied city of Yaffa. The operation was conducted using two Yafa drones.

Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, affirmed that despite the ongoing American aggression against Yemen, “this will not prevent us from continuing to fulfill our duty toward the steadfast people of Gaza until the aggression against them ends and the siege is lifted.”

The Yemeni Armed Forces reiterated their readiness to confront any escalation, emphasizing their commitment to the Palestinian people and declaring that “our operations will not cease until the aggression ends and the siege on Gaza is lifted.”

Ansarallah commander details Eilat operation

Ansarallah Commander Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr El-Din al-Houthi gave a speech last Thursday where he detailed the success of the naval blockade. We publish the statement below:

— The “israeli” enemy must be eradicated from the region, along with the American enemy, both of whom represent a threat to global peace and security. Operations in support of Gaza are ongoing, whether through rocket shelling and drone operations towards occupied Palestine, or by preventing “israeli” navigation in the sea. The “israeli” enemy’s navigation through the Red Sea has completely stopped, and it has reached despair. The port of “Eilat” remains abandoned, and the “israeli” enemy can no longer benefit from it; this is a great victory for the effectiveness of the Yemeni position. The American enemy attacks Yemen trying to protect the “israelis,” but it will not succeed, and our operations will not stop. We affirm with certainty and definitiveness that the American aggression against us will not be able to weaken our capabilities; rather, it will increase their development, and the Yemen front will remain active and influential.

America has failed to prevent military operations and to secure maritime navigation for the “israeli” enemy.

HPG Pays Tribute to Guerrilla Dilmaf Efrîn

Guerrilla Dilmaf Efrîn fell as a martyr in February in South Kurdistan’s Gare region following a tragic accident and an ensuing explosion. The People’s Defense Forces (HPG) issued a statement to pay tribute to the martyr and said that “with his passing, the Kurdish guerrilla movement has lost a determined and highly respected fighter who dedicated his life to the struggle for Kurdistan’s freedom.” The HPG shared the following details about the guerrilla:

Codename: Dilmaf Efrîn

Full name: Xelîl Cuma

Place of birth: Efrîn

Parents’ names: Nura – Reşîd

Date and place of death: 6 February 2025, Gare

Dilmaf was born in Afrin (Efrîn), Rojava,  a region known for its deep ties to the Kurdish freedom movement. From a young age, he was exposed to the political reality of Kurdistan. Stories of guerrilla fighters, the resistance against assimilation, and state repression left a lasting mark on him. The sense of alienation he experienced in state-run schools, where he couldn’t freely speak his mother tongue, further fueled his desire for a different life.

He worked from a young age to support his family, developed a strong awareness of social inequality, and soon joined the Kurdish youth movement. Guided by a deep sense of justice, his path eventually led him to the guerrilla ranks, a conscious decision to opt for a life of simplicity, collectivity, and resistance.

In 2014, he officially joined the Kurdish movement. After a brief basic military training, guerrilla Dilmaf participated in numerous operations, as well as in the fight against the Islamic State (ISIS). His discipline, sense of responsibility, and political clarity quickly earned him the trust of his comrades.

His political thinking was especially influenced by the ideas of Abdullah Öcalan and the concept of Democratic Confederalism. Dilmaf was not only a fighter but also a learner: he immersed himself in political and ideological education, participated in specialized trainings, and became a seasoned guerrilla. Comrades described him as sincere, helpful, energetic, and deeply loyal to his ideals.

His final deployment was in a particularly strategic region, where he continued his work with great determination until his death.

The HPG wrote: “Dilmaf was more than a fighter. He was a role model. With his determination, sincere character, and deep dedication to the cause, he has secured a place in the collective memory of our movement. His death is a great loss, but his life remains a legacy. It is now the responsibility of the Kurdish freedom movement, his comrades, and the people of Afrin to carry forward his efforts until the dreams he died for become reality.”

Yemeni Armed Forces Attack Military Target in Tel Aviv, US Aircraft Carrier in Red Sea

In support of the oppressed Palestinian people and their resistance groups, and in response to the ongoing war of genocide against our brothers in Gaza, the UAV force of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a military operation targeting a Zionist military target in the occupied area of Jaffa (Tel Aviv), using a “Yaffa” drone, according to military spokesman General Yahya Sarea.

“The armed forces continue to confront the ongoing American aggression against our country.
In response to its crimes against citizens in several governorates, the Air Force carried out a targeted operation targeting a number of enemy warships, led by the US aircraft carrier Truman, north of the Red Sea, using a number of drones,” Sarea statement read.

“The armed forces, as they fight this battle with valor, defiance, and faith, reaffirm, as they have affirmed over the past years, that great Yemen is resilient and will not back down from supporting and backing the oppressed Palestinian people. It will not surrender to the American aggression, and will remain, as it was, and will always be a graveyard for invaders.”

We continue to prevent Israeli navigation in the Red and Arabian Seas, the statement added.

“We will continue with trust in Allah to confront this brutal aggression, we will continue, with Allah’s help, to support the oppressed Palestinian people until the aggression against Gaza stops and the siege is lifted.”

In other news, the Yemeni Armed Forces have documented the wreckage of a US MQ-9 drone that was shot down over Al-Jawf province on Wednesday, according to footage released by the Yemeni Military Media.

The Military Media also shared updated figures regarding US drones of this type that have been downed across various provinces, revealing that Yemeni forces have brought down 22 MQ-9 drones in total. Of these, 18 were downed during the “Promised Conquest and Sacred Jihad” campaign in support of Gaza.

Earlier today, the spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced that Yemeni air defenses successfully targeted and downed the American drone, with footage of the wreckage later made public.

Saree stated that this marks the third US MQ-9 drone shot down within the past 10 days. He stressed that the ongoing operations come in direct response to continuous US aggression against Yemen and reaffirmed that Yemeni forces remain committed to supporting Gaza through their military operations.

Lebanon Front: Why the US-Zionist War Isn’t Over

The Zionist war on Lebanon is far from over. Southern Lebanon, the Beqaa Valley, and Beirut’s southern suburbs remain open territory for Tel Aviv’s assassination operations targeting Hezbollah cadres. Barely a day goes by without a Zionist drone carrying out a targeted killing or detonation.

Zionist drones rarely leave the skies over the south or the Beqaa – whether engaged in intelligence gathering or circling for a kill. Alongside this, western diplomats warn the Lebanese government that Israel is preparing for another round of violence to pressure Hezbollah into disarmament – unless a specific timetable is set for handing its weapons to the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF).

Disarmament by drone

As Tel Aviv’s key supporter on the global stage, Washington calculates that reigniting war will force Hezbollah’s support base to turn against it, pushing for disarmament once its weapons are seen as ineffective in deterring Israeli aggression.

This narrative is promoted through media outlets and social media influencers seeking to normalize this outcome. Even some Lebanese politicians have begun echoing these talking points in interviews.

In contrast, a counter-reading among security officials suggests the occupation state stands to gain little more than what it already has in the war. It can assassinate Hezbollah personnel at will, without prompting retaliation on settlements, given Hezbollah’s declared commitment to the ceasefire and its alignment with the Lebanese state.

Why, then, would the Zionist regime risk disrupting the truce and endangering its own population – especially when its stated goal of Hezbollah’s disarmament is far from guaranteed and the cost remains unknown?

A strategy without teeth

Two scenarios are being floated for the handover of arms. The first sees Hezbollah voluntarily relinquishing its weapons – something party officials call impossible. In fact, Hezbollah’s base has become even more entrenched in its support for the resistance’s weapons, particularly after the massacres they saw in Syria’s Alawite coastal villages.

There, extremist factions tied to Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and the new Syrian intelligence forces slaughtered thousands of civilians based solely on their sectarian identity. Many now see existential threats emanating both from the Zionist regime and the extremist Islamist government in Syria.

The second scenario hinges on adopting a national defense strategy under Lebanese army leadership. This is a concept Lebanese President Joseph Aoun often brings up, with talk of Hezbollah transferring its arsenal to the army and integrating its fighters into the military institution to form a unified national defense force.

Yet here, a critical fact is omitted: the Lebanese army consistently destroys all missiles it seizes from Hezbollah positions south of the Litani River – particularly Almas and Kornet systems. Sources speaking to The Cradle reveal that international observers attend and sometimes film these destruction processes.

Ceasefire in name only

According to the sources, the army follows explicit US directives in destroying these capabilities. The aim is clear: keep Lebanon’s army weak and incapable of forming any real deterrent against its aggressive southern neighbor.

Washington has no intention of allowing Hezbollah’s military assets to be transferred to the national army. Lebanon’s compliance with this plan spells the death of any genuine defense strategy – and the country’s new US-backed president, fresh from his post as commander of the LAF, well knows this.

US dictates go further than just weapons destruction. Beirut also refuses to condemn the regime’s repeated breaches of the ceasefire. Since the truce was signed on 27 November 2024, the regime has racked up over a thousand violations and killed more than 100 Lebanese civilians and soldiers.

Diplomacy has failed to halt these aggressions or compel Tel Aviv to withdraw from five occupied sites inside Lebanese territory, nor has the regime complied with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres’s request to halt the use of warplanes and drones over Lebanon.

In response to these thousand-plus violations, only three incidents of rocket or missile fire have been recorded from Lebanese territory into the Zionist entity – yet Tel Aviv’s retaliation has been ferocious.

Following the latest rocket fire, the regime bombed Beirut’s southern suburbs. Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is keen to impose a clear, new military equation on its northern neighbor: any rocket launched toward the Zionist entity will carry an exorbitant cost for Lebanon. Tel Aviv is using disproportionate violence to deter further attacks.

The US, meanwhile, has pinned responsibility on Lebanon for preventing rocket launches from its territory. In response, Lebanese security services carried out a series of arrests. Ten suspects were detained in total – seven by army intelligence (three Lebanese, two Syrians, and two Palestinians) and three by General Security (two Lebanese and one Syrian).

However, none of the 10 have any proven connection to the rocket launches – they were arrested solely for being near the launch sites, according to technical evidence. In other words, the detainees are all likely innocent of the so-called “crime” of rocket fire.

A manufactured pretext?

With Lebanese agencies unable to apprehend any of the actual perpetrators, two scenarios remain. One is that the regime, through its local collaborators, is staging these rocket attacks to create a pretext for military escalation – especially given its near-total aerial control over the south, which makes undetected launches virtually impossible.

Proponents of this theory argue that Tel Aviv sees an opportunity – perhaps its last – to eliminate Hezbollah once and for all, buoyed by the international climate’s indifference to mass violence, as seen in Gaza. The severing of Hezbollah’s supply lines after the fall of former president Bashar al-Assad’s government in Syria only reinforces this belief.

The second scenario is that Hezbollah or a Palestinian faction is indeed behind the launches. Some even suggest rogue elements acting without organizational approval. Given the known launch zones, only three actors are considered possible: the Zionist regime, Hezbollah, or a third group operating with Hezbollah’s awareness.

A war without end

If the regime’s complicity is ruled out, it means the southern front is unlikely to quiet down, regardless of how much violence Tel Aviv uses as deterrence. Any future war, no matter how destructive to Hezbollah’s arsenal, will not prevent southern Lebanon from becoming an open arena for all factions, organizations, and lone actors.

After all, despite the near-total destruction of Gaza following Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on 7 October 2023, the Zionist regime has failed to stop rocket fire from Palestinians continuing to resist the carnage. This very dynamic threatens the northern front, leaving Zionist settlers vulnerable and placing massive pressure on the Zionist government – now in its third year of a war, with no tangible victory in sight.

Tel Aviv has neither eliminated the threat nor secured its settlers close to the border areas – and it knows it cannot stop the rockets. Meanwhile, Hezbollah’s patience with Zionist violations is wearing thin. The resistance is steadily rebuilding its military capacity.

When it is ready – once diplomacy is dead, and the Lebanese resistance’s legitimacy is renewed by continued Zionist occupation and daily atrocities – Hezbollah will not hesitate to respond. That will happen once the US-backed Lebanese government and army show they have zero ability to counter aggression – ironically, an outcome created entirely by the US-backed Zionist attacks on Lebanon.

HPG Pays Tribute to Guerrillas Doğa Şîn and Eylül Deniz Zagros

The People’s Defense Forces (HPG) paid tribute to Free Women’s Units (YJA Star) guerrillas Doğa Şîn and Eylül Deniz Zagros, who fell as martyrs in Turkish attacks on Gare.

According to the HPG, both fighters were involved in resistance in various regions of Kurdistan for years and sustained fatal injuries during two separate attacks in January and February. The HPG described them as “courageous and dedicated militants” who had devoted their lives to the struggle for Kurdish freedom.

The People’s Defense Forces expressed their condolences to the families of the two fallen fighters and emphasized in their obituary the emotional connection the women had with the ideals of the movement. They were honored as role models for the new generation of young activists. The loss, they said, is a heavy blow, but their legacy will live on, in political work, the fight for recognition and rights, and in the cultural memory of the Kurdish movement.

“Doğa and Eylül were not just militants; they were symbolic figures of a movement that stands against oppression and for a life of freedom,” the statement read. Their courage and determination made them role models beyond death. “We will continue their path with determination,” concluded the message.

Nom de Guerre: Doğa Şîn
Full name: Binevş Altay
Place of birth: Pirsûs
Mother and father’s names: Üveyş – Selami
Date and place of death: January 11, 2025 / Gare

Nom de Guerre: Eylül Deniz Zagros
Full name: Evin Işbilir
Place of birth: Gever
Mother and father’s names: Güzel – Halit
Date and place of death: February 1, 2025 / Gare

Doğa Şîn

Originally from the northern Kurdish town of Suruç (Pirsûs), Doğa Şîn grew up in a politicized environment and joined the guerrillas in 2014, amid the war against the Islamic State (ISIS). Her decision was made under the impression of the attack on the western Kurdish city of Kobanê, located directly across the border from Suruç. “She promised herself at that time to support the people who had lost their homes and to stand against what she saw as the cause of their suffering,” said the HPG.

Prior to that, Doğa Şîn had spent years searching for a way out of what she perceived as an alienating society. Her encounter with the ideology of Abdullah Öcalan, and especially his views on women and alternatives to the capitalist system, led her to the Kurdish freedom movement. After joining the guerrillas, she fought directly in areas where resistance against ISIS was taking place. Following an injury at the front and a lengthy recovery, she returned to active combat, this time in the mountains.

Despite coming from a flatland region, she quickly felt at home in the mountains. There, she was active in various organizational and military roles. With strong determination and tactical skill, she specialized in modern guerrilla warfare. Her comrades described her as a disciplined, creative, and reliable fighter who never shied away from challenges.

In one of her writings, Doğa Şîn described the mountains as motherly and protective, a metaphor for her journey of self-discovery. In her military operations, she reportedly stood out for her precision and dedication.

Eylül Deniz Zagros

Eylül Deniz Zagros was born in Yüksekova (Gever), in the northern Kurdish province of Hakkari (Colemêrg), a region known for its deeply rooted spirit of resistance. Her family had already been active in the Kurdish liberation struggle in previous years, which had a profound influence on her. As a teenager, she was involved in political activism, and from around 2009, she participated in organizing community self-defense. In 2012, she left university and joined the guerrillas in the Zagros Mountains.

She viewed her political and ideological training as the foundation for her later military education. According to her own accounts, her motivation was closely tied to the violent deaths of her brother and a paternal cousin in 2013 in Yüksekova. Both men were shot dead by snipers from a Turkish police special unit during a protest against the desecration of a guerrilla cemetery.

Her path in the guerrilla eventually led her into the fight against ISIS, including in the Yazidi region of Shengal, where a genocide occurred in 2014 and Yazidi women were systematically kidnapped and abused. She considered the suffering of Yazidi women as symbolic of patriarchal violence, which motivated her to resist with determination.

After several injuries, Eylül Deniz Zagros returned to the Medya Defense Areas, continued her training, and contributed to the development of new guerrilla tactics. According to the obituary, she placed great emphasis on collective responsibility, humility, and gender equality within the movement. She became a role model for many young women through her determination.
