Here is #Germany's most famous #door (the website even claims it may be the most famous door in the world, ha!): The "Theses #Doors" of the All Saints' #Church in #Wittenberg. It is said that Martin Luther posted his 95 theses on this door. These theses launched the #Protestant #Reformation in 1517, resulting in the birth of #Protestantism.
Of course this is not the original door from back then. It burned down in 1760 in the Seven Years' War, together with most of the church, and was replaced. These #bronze doors were installed on Luther's 375th birthday in 1858, with his theses inscribed in Latin. Today, the doors are only used for special occasions. And for photos of course.
