This week our houseguest is a Dutch friend of my wife from 20 years ago, when they gave multilingual guided tours of #Stockholm 's beautiful town hall.

I just taught her that unlike in English and Dutch, you very rarely have tea and a cookie in Swedish. Because it means to own or possess tea and a cookie. In Swedish, tea is drunk and cookies are eaten. Unless you're talking about what's in your larder.
