It takes seconds to clean up after yourself. Yet some would rather leave a scar on the #world that lasts centuries. If you can carry it in, you can carry it out. Leaving #rubbish behind isn’t just dirty — it’s destructive, shameful, & inexcusable. We must speak up. We must protect what remains. (5/6)

Beaches are not bins. Forests are not dumps. The world isn’t disposable. When people discard #rubbish in nature, they’re not only saying they don’t care — they’re declaring that their convenience is more important than life itself. It’s violence against the #earth. It shows complete disrespect for future generations, for animals, for beauty, for everything that makes life worth living. (4/6)

#Littering #poisons the land, the water, & ultimately us. #Microplastics from discarded packaging enter our oceans, are consumed by marine life, & travel up the food chain until they reach our #bodies. Every careless act of dumping #rubbish in the sand or #bush contributes to the slow poisoning of the planet. We breathe it, drink it, eat it. Our laziness returns to us in the form of disease, #pollution, & the collapse of the #natural systems that keep us alive. (3/6)

Birds, turtles, fish, & other animals mistake #rubbish for food or become entangled in it, suffering painful deaths. Their suffering is real, prolonged, & entirely preventable. It’s a betrayal of our shared home & of the creatures who have no voice to protest. (2/6)

Today I collected 1 bag of #rubbish instead of 3. I am still pessimistic that the situation will improve.
