Vintage Obsession
I've been in love with this one for months, years, decades. Perhaps one day, when the moons align, I'll grab four Pentium Pro "Black Edition" CPUs and as much RAM as its mezzanine cards can handle, and ... well, you know how the rest of the vintage hardware story goes. Beautiful. The only concern is, "wtf is it doing on the EMI static-charged carpet for the photos?"
Managed to drag this bugger up into the new room yesterday. Cleaned it off, then up and over a step.
In one way software beats hardware - it wont break ya back!!!

I have and regularly use a Toshiba laptop and an LG phone. I'm surprised I don't have a Zune.
Here was the one before... Omg... This one was HORRIBLE.
Everything was used, off of eBay.
The fan was UV, the GPU was useless, the motherboard was horrible.
My PC 14 years ago, Core 2 Quad, BioStar motherboard and this crazy vortex case...
I bet there was only 4GB of RAM in there...
I also ran Windows at the time, yuck

Drahtwort
Das Drahtwort, auch Drahtanschrift genannt, ist eine Telegramm(kurz)adresse, die früher besonders von Unternehmen verwendet wurde. Das Telegrafenamt konnte aus der Liste der vergebenen Drahtwörter die Empfängeradresse zuordnen. Da bei der Gebührenabrechnung von Telegrammen die Anzahl der Wörter maßgeblich war, konnte sich der Absender so die kostspielige Übertragung der vollständigen Adresse ersparen. Neben dem „Fernruf“ (der Telefonnummer) und der Fernschreibernummer war das Drahtwort ein Standardbestandteil im Briefkopf eines Unternehmens.
Eine Telegramm-Kurzanschrift kostete sowohl 1974 als auch 1986 monatlich 5 DM.
