While I’m here, I might as well share my own multi-genre electronic music soundtracking :MW: MOULE WORLD: my fun worldbuilding project where cartoon animal characters are fighting against digital armageddon and the :Bugs: Bugs trying to bring about the Singularity! Can :CTRL: CTRL save :Rocky: Rocky in time?!

People are reaching out to play my music on podcasts and shows. That means a lot. Thank you.

It cost me a lot of cash and time to make. If you like lo-fi hip hop music or psychedelic chill music you might like my album.

It's only $5 on Bandcamp. Please check it out.

I appreciate people supporting my work and sharing my music. Even if you don't buy my record please share it if you like it. Thank you.

@limebar
😊 Thank you & I concur! It's amazing what can add up if you mostly just buy music from fediverse artists. My physical media is stacking up, too. Just ask my wife. 😅

You both are in there, but my eclectic tastes should also dispel any notion that the only musicians on the fediverse are electronic/synth. Everything from a @SingleBass to haunted country @mykie to singer-songwriter @MTP to blues rock @DoctorDeathray to European versions of mountain string music @moonshinebrigade.

I could go on and on, but I don't have the way with words when describing music that @etherdiver does, so follow him and his newsletter!

You could of course check out all the fabulous releases posted on #FairTradeMusic Fridays past and maybe interact with or follow one of those marvelous musicians - I'm sure it'd make their day!

I've mentioned before that I'm trying to make more music this year. This month, my challenge to myself was to make something a little more mainstream than my usual quirky songs about anthropomorphic animals. Should you like to give a listen, here's the song link:

And of course if you prefer you can go listen to it at my Bandcamp page (link in bio).

And if you miss the usual quirkiness, fear not for it shall be back next month whence I'll probably release my least commercial song ever :neocat_laugh_tears:

🙌 Super spokesperson for the Fedi and its music scene, @meljoann gives it to them on BBC Radio 6 Music. 💪

Good on Deb Grant. She sounded genuinely enthused.

Tracks from Meljoann, @RobertaFidora and @lislegaard all feature. You can listen back by scrolling to about 1:06:20 in at bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0029y4j

And I totally agree, Mel: Information Array is one of my all time favourite songs!
