That didn't last long. Bought a (Chinese) replacement pack instead of cells for the Dyson vacuum last time, because cells come by ship which takes 3 months and we needed to vacuum.

They were crap of course and are dying already. This time I'll just get cells and maybe I can find where I left the original pack with the original BMS so I don't have to use this one.

Diesen Turmventilator habe ich in der aktuellen #amazon Spar-Aktion günstiger bekommen. Er macht im Wesentlichen das, was das vergleichbare Produkt von #dyson auch macht und im Vergleich damit habe ich ca 400-500 Euro eingespart. Das ist schon was ..! :-)

@neil Weird how the battery replacement process went from “push button to release” to “dismantle to repair”. They didn’t even change the basic design of the battery, which was clearly done with quick-swapping in mind.

We used to keep a spare battery charged for long vacuuming sessions, but that was the last #Dyson product I’ll ever buy. It went to a local repair place for spares when it gave out.

@TJ1001 A billionaire who was/is an enthusiastic & outspoken advocate of #Brexit , seemingly out of pique in his longrunning battle with the EU over maximum power consumption of vacuum cleaners. Returns to prominence now, as a major investor in farmland, presumably as an Inheritance Tax wheeze. Go back to Singapore #Dyson.

Had someone had recently contact to the support of #Dyson?

My impression it has collapsed.

My (trivial) ticket is unanswered for weeks now. Called the hotline, they cannot access any ticket at the moment. All the agent could do is say "Sorry" in a lot of variations.

Asked me to send an email. Received another ticket (like the first).

And another PSA: if you happen to have a #Dyson humidifier (which, per se, is working quite well), then never ever flip the pump column upside down or let any water come near the lid, I nearly killed ours that way 😱

This is sort of ironic for a device that definitely has to handle water... but apparently this thing has some serious design flaws in waterproofing the internal circuit board. (1/3)

Got a second-hand Dyson air purifier, only to find out that it's missing the WiFi module 😑 Not a total showstopper, but still annoying, does anyone know where/how to get Dyson spares (perhaps also second-hand)? I already found the shop manual with very detailed disassembly instructions, but no part numbers...

Ich habe mit Bosch bezgl. Ersatzteilversorgung gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Ob die gute Akkustaubsauger haben, weiss ich nicht.

Bei Rowenta scheint man leicht Ersatzteile zu bekommen.

Ich würde einen kabelgebundenen kaufen.
