I find it slightly annoying that the #Discord version on Linux is 0.0.xx and has been for-ev-er. You aren't following any of the versioning schemes I know!

My discord is once again broken, it now triggers my headset to loop "mute on, mute off" with voice commands. Over, and over, and over, and over...

Until the headset is drained out of power. It does this without the device being selected for audio input/out and it does it consistently every time the application is running.

No other application does this.

Ok, so no one cared when they started reading chats, or when they started selling the metadata from them, or when they stated they were going to proactively comply with law enforcement, or when they started charging, or when they started using crypto, or when they started engaging in reckless and wanton use of AI as an ecologically destructive engine, but does anyone care that they're going public with an IPO?

Nutzer sollen mit vielen Clients verbinden können und auf alle. Die Historie haben. E2E macht Sachen notlos kompliziert. Zudem wenn es so benutzerfeindlich wie bei Matrix implementiert ist.

Föderation hat auch nur Nachteile, solange der Client gleichzeitig bei x Serverinstanzen direkt angemeldet sein kann: auf diese Weise hat man kein Delay, eine authoritative Timeline und zwei Zehnerpotenzen geringere Komplexität.
