Regular reminder that #Cisgender is a #psychology term for someone whose #gender matches their birth sex, and is not a slur.

Periodic reminder: cis is not a slur. It just means "not trans".

You'd think transphobes would want us all to have an easy way to say that, because the alternative of saying "not trans" kinda makes transness sound like the default, doesn't it?

I think #X's policy on the word "#cisgender" is a new level of escalation. It's dangerous.

There's nothing wrong with being #cisgender.
If you are #cis #gender, I am happy for you.
No one should call you out for being cisgender, as in, comfortable staying in the gender you were assigned at birth.

If I had a #Twitter account, I could get #BANNED for defending the use of the words #cis and #cisgender (which just means "not #transgender"). And I'm cis myself.
