A little while ago, inspired by this essay, which you should totally read joanwestenberg.com/the-case-fo by @Daojoan I decided to make some stickers because anything worth doing is worth putting on a sticker, amirite.

I had them printed at The Gloo Factory, a radical print shop in Tucson that you should totally support.

Send me an SASE and I'll send you one for free! I had 100 printed, so first come first served. SASE to: Mikal, P.O. Box 5, Redway CA 95560. I won't be back there for a week, but I'll get to them then. (small tips accepted, not at all required)

a small black and white sticker being held in my fingers. In a casual style font it says "Be the cringe you wish to see in the world", a riff on the popular (and very cringy) saying "Be the change you wish to see in the world." The sticker is 2" x 3", about the size of a business card.

@huey listening to this and it has been #cringe. Clearly language was targeted to engage younger voters ahead of #GE2025 ? JT trying to imply they are listening to uni and poly students (why can't say tertiary) and TSL saying that the economic climate will impact the fresh grads prospect of landing a job. But bruv the job market has been meh since covid... 😐 I'm also shocked that ML from SBF uses "tariff bans" and he quotes the DPM GKY 🤦‍♀️ seems their understanding of tariffs is ???

I need your cringy opinions!

I am having "Be the cringe you want to see in the world" stickers printed. Went with small, laptop size (2x2 or 2x3).

I originally thought I'd do a simple plain text design. Then I went and searched existing stickers (with "change" instead of "cringe", of course) and they're all over the map.

If you want one and have a minute, please search "be the change you want to see in the world sticker" and post the style you think best suits the vibe.

I need to send the design to the printer today.

#TrinidadAndTobago recriminalizes CONSENSUAL anal #sex. The punishment is up to 5 years of prison.
This is #totalitarian. The state wants to control even the most private aspects of life.

What is punished is anal between man and man, or man and woman. The law comes from the colonial era.

Pathetic. #Anal sex is just sex, the #stigma surrounding it is irrational and #cringe.

The citizens should rise up against this. Everyone, not just #gay men.

Always cracks me up come election time the classic photo-ops start circulating of 'Politician holding a Beer' and 'Politician holding a Football'... Like we're all just supposed to say "Yup, they're definitely one of us, definitely voting for them now" 😆 😆 😆

(incidentally there's a very amusing photo of Dutton holding a beer in front of him like he doesn't know what to do with it over on the Guardian website currently)
