Almost a year ago and days from my birthday I got my #Mega65 delivered to the door. Within minutes I open up the package and started playing with my new toy.
And of course I forgot to pause and appreciate the time someone spent creating the cover art. So today I'm doing just that. The mega comes in a really nice box and it really creates the feeling of a true birthday present!

Wiping used 3.5" HD floppies
Putting tape over the hole to them "DD"
Formatting and verifying each #floppydisk
Had time to go through 15 floppies and all of them seemed to work.
After 2.5 years of waiting during the chip shortage the #mega65 finally arrived and unboxed!

Hey #retrocomputer #8BitComputing folks, have you played with this RGB to composite module sold for adapting older vehicle reversing cameras? Looking to see if it's an option for a project I'm working on that spits out RGB+S. Anyone know what chip is used? I'm wondering if it's a quick-n-dirty alternative to an AD723/AD724 circuit.

All fixed up! From trash to treasure with this breadbin C64. This has been a most satisfying repair. New RAM and a KERNAL ROM replacement. Keys and case washed.
Another C64 back from the dead! This one arrived to me with a black screen and no indicators from the dead test.
Bad RAM, all but one of the MT brand ICs was dead, then one of my new old stock RAM ICs had a stuck address line. The KERNAL is dead as well so I'll have to make an adaptor for the 27C64 EPROM I put in its place (currently breadboarded). The SID seems to a bit tired too with one of the channels sounding off.

Back in 2017... 3 new programmed, tested and labeled 16k EPROMS for the cartridge version of PHASE OUT LPE.
Back in 2017...content of the PHASE OUT LPE cartridge package plus additional level disk with levels from the release in 2014.
The keyboard is dusty, but all the keys work! The left and right cursor keys were missing their springs for some reason, bit I found some similarly sized ones.
