Christian Lawson-Perfect

My 3-year-old would like to know what winter looks like around the world. Could you reply with a photo of what it looks like near you at the moment?

Here's what it looks like near us, in North-East England.

@christianp got some nice sunset pictures at lake tawakoni in texas a few days ago

(no individual image descriptions, figure that's enough)

@christianp Minnesota, Christmas Day:

@christianp
Hi,I'm in Beijing, I photographed a kid who was skating on the frozen lake in the afternoon.

@christianp took this picture the day after Christmas :) I’m in the northern United States

@christianp a couple of snowflakes here in western Germany. Greetings from 6 year old twins 👭

@christianp Northern Sweden (not a current photo but the best I have)

@christianp
Winter is not a snow covered paradise here in the Western Ghat mountain range of India but just a cool atmosphere (normally above 20°C) and the nature just freshly watered from the constant down pour of the rainy season adds to it's beauty.

@christianp Fichtel Mountains in the North of Bavaria, Germany. Today in the woods.

@sepp she says "like the enchanted forest". Thanks!

@christianp suburban western New York State

@christianp Trinity-Bellwoods Park, downtown Toronto, Canada

@christianp here's what it looks like this evening in Chicago, Illinois, USA. I took this photo from my apartment window.

@christianp it's been about 2 and a half hours since I took the first picture and it's been snowing the whole time!

@christianp pic1, the city winter is taste d like ice on the dying flowers. pic2, out of the city, in the nearest national park, top of the mountain.
Location: China, Shandong province.

@christianp Here in Southern California we have fruit on the prickly pears and snow on the far-distant mountaintops.

@11011110 "prickly pears like Baloo eats!" Thanks!

@christianp I'm not entirely sure how Baloo is supposed to find them in India, but yes.

@11011110 yes, American stuff where it shouldn't belong is sort of Disney's thing

@christianp that's such a cool thread to read, seeing everyone else's winter pics :)

@christianp Cape Otway, Australia from yesterday.

@christianp yesterday from the eastern part of Norway

This is from Drammen in Norway. Out of sight to the left are children playing and riding their sleighs with their mums and dads.

@christianp this was on Sunday in hills near Ljubljana, Slovenia. Cheers

@christianp
Good morning from the eastern part of Germany around Lutherstadt Wittenberg.
We have -3 degrees Celsius and no snow. But a beautiful river with lots of landscape.
Greetings to North-East England

@christianp

Well, not at the moment cause my cameras are currently stored at the ground of the Pacific Ocean.

Thank you and greetings to your 3-y-old …
