Finally figure out how to add my openapi key into #ZedEditor for an #elixir project I'm doing... And yeah. Def feeling the zed love.

It just feels so good in zed. So clean, simple, yet powerful. And having the AI be a control enter away but not have it annoying me is real nice

Is the Zed text editor project dead? I wanted to give it another try after having issues configuring the rust-analyzer in the past. It seems to have more rust-analyzer options but they seem to not work, so I asked in the built in chat *crickets*, no-one in there. Just a random guest coming in there once in a long while. And majority of the discussion threads on github don't have answers at all. The pitch seems interesting but without some support it seems hard to get into… :( #zed #zededitor

I’m moving to Zed as my editor and it starts to grow on me.

One of the features I really like is that it automatically replaces „!=“ statements. It's not supported by every font, but I kinda like it.

I think I've decided that I'm going to just stick with #HelixEditor for my legacy #PHP application. It's just so dialed in and works great. Zed is struggling to deal with the wonkiness.

However, once I start migrating code over to #elixir , Im going to give #ZedEditor another go. It IS impressive.

In #ZedEditor , I can't seem to get format on save to match what I have in #HelixEditor

In Helix, this misaligned HTML would be correct, bbut doesnt work for zed..

Ive been using and loving #HelixEditor but sometimes deeply miss the file tree and code folding.

But can't really stand #vscode anymore.
