I was doing one of my morning word games — I’m going to give away the word or the story doesn’t make sense, but it’s not Wordle — and tried to fit in APTLY.

But it wouldn’t work. The only word that worked was APPLY. Except I kept thinking app-ly (in the same mode as apt-ly) and going, that’s not word, since when is that a word, hey it worked, how dare they let that be a word.
