Der Verschluss vom "Atlas Lockstand" ist schwergängig, lässt sich manchmal gar nicht einrasten. Super wenn da zwei Kinder absteigen sollen.
Beim genaueren Hinsehen (boah ist das geil das Rad einfach hochkant aufstellen zu können!) sieht eins dass der Metallstab so gegen den Verschluss drückt, dass dieser sich nicht schließen kann. Der Verschluss ist mit zwei Schrauben befestigt und lässt sich leicht bewegen.

Der wartungsfreie Riemenantrieb vom SUV hat gequietscht. Nach kurzer Geräusch-Lokalisierung war klar: es ist der Gurtspanner. Diesen ausbauen und wieder einbauen und einstellen wollte ich nicht wirklich. Aber den ganzen Dreck drumherum kann man auch im eingebauten Zustand wegmachen. Und siehe da, das Quietschen ist weg!

Got a chance to bicycle a Tern GSD yesterday. Sweet. I can see this bike getting through to the people who think bicycling for transportation isn't possible. I just used the "eco" option and the difference it made on a steep incline was amazing.

Oof, I hadn't fallen in years, but got spanked hard by the ground tonight. I was riding the #TernGSD about 13mph on a MUP with 1" of mashed-potato snow. (Sadly, I had 8 miles to go)

I've got studded Marathon tires, but the front wheel can quit rolling and start plowing/sliding really easily.

I'm going to have to park the GSD and switch to an MTB with 26" IceSpikers. Maybe if IceSpikers came in 20", that would be enough to make the GSD a #winterbike .

Missed the start of #MinnesotaFrost hockey cuz Santa's Sleigh #TernGSD went to Target for stocking stuffers.

The 20" Marathon Winter tires were fine on plowed paths, but I had to stop and walk the bike through loose snow.

The other bike with 27.5" and IceSpikers would have been easier, but would have struggled to carry the clothes drying rack

From kids to fold-up boats (yes, boats!), this bike doesn’t just carry the load—it makes it look easy.

Props to @nicholas.sideras for showing us how to carry a boat on his GSD.

After watching videos of Battery Doctor fixing Bosch ebike batteries with water damage to the BMS, I have taped up my batteries with electrical tape before winter.

There is one long piece of tape down the side, under the bottom and back up the other side. And a short piece on the handlebar the top. (I snipped it twice on the bottom so I could fold a flap inwards where the electric contacts are)
