I just finished the final episode of #SecretInvasion and, holy crap, that was dark!
Shady espionage, violent politicians, and a paranoid public tinderbox that has just been lit. The Gravik/Fury confrontation was laced with fucked up metaphors for immigration and national security. #MCU got darker than #Batman verse. 
Can we keep Olivia Coleman, tho?
@SuperSideshow Why don't y'all do shows on #MarvelAssembled? I value @mikebrew and @Jayslacks's thoughts on the background things they talk about. Seems like a perfect fit for you guys! Especially the ONE THING the HEAD WRITER brags about in #SecretInvasion's #Assembled! THIS is why this series SUCKED!

I thought #SecretInvasion was going to be a wild series with a great concept and didn't think much of #Echo and well I was wrong for that.
Secret Invasion after the first episode was really lacklustre, Echo was spectacular from start to finish. I loved bringing things back to the dark anti-hero NYC #Marvel crew.

I watched #SecretInvasion on #DisneyPlus the past two nights and it's nowhere near as bad as #YouTubers claim.
I guess if you're a #comic #nerd (not a diss), and it's wildly different than the books, I can understand the hate.
I'm not though (I haven't read comics in 50 years) and, other than the ridiculousness of the last episode (G'iah is now more powerful than #CaptainMarvel and all of the #Avengers?!?), the show was ok.
Better than #Hawkeye, equal to #Falcon / #WinterSoldier.
I caught up on the trailers I've skipped and was interested in, #Loki, #TheMarvels, and #Echo on #YouTube, now I'm going to start catching up on shows I've missed, starting with #SecretInvasion 
I'll catch up with all the other stuff, too, but I've watched plenty of serious stuff (#TheCriterionChannel, etc) during my #solidarity break, so now for the mind fluff, which is absolutely, 100% true #cinema, the same as all the rest.
It doesn't have to be good, or to matter, to be cinema.
With so many issues raised by the use of #AI, and the rapid changes in this still new #technology, the #AMPTP need to drop their demands on this and end the #strike.
It's only three years until the next contract negotiations, and by then we should all have a much better sense of how best to use AI in ways that #SAGAFTRA, et al. can protect all of the members of its #union.
The opening of #SecretInvasion should prove to the #studios and #streamers AI isn't ready.
