A friend and I are fooling around, developing an acoustic cover of Bulls On Parade. I made this kinda-shitty/kinda-fun utility track for us to work from at this stage. It has it all: pretty bad guitar (especially in some spots), weird whisper (there's a reason), and singing that doesn't really know what melody or harmony it wants to do. But I like it anyway.

I have a friend who took a job in the State Bureau of Investigation a few years ago. He's not conservative, but now he's a cop and the only non-MAGA person he sees all day. He says his job environment is unimaginable right now, and he needs lots of saying nothing at work plus decompression at home to survive mentally. And he told me about Brass Against, so that's the positive from this story.

(I prefer to link to non-Google services but in this case the visuals of a brass band and whoever that vocalist is tearing injustice a new asshole are delightful to me)
