IC "danish nose" Bramming - Middelfart ->
R-Tog Middelfart - Gelsted
Pro : Cursed IC Sylt, haven't been, long IC "danish nose"
Con : 1.5 h in 2nd class only LINT while I wanna work
Alternative :
ICE Berlin - Hamburg ->
/
IC Eurofima Hamburg - Odense ->

Pro : Still lots of Eurofima, didn't take Eurofima hauled by Vectron yet, DB Lounge break in Hamburg
Con : No IC "danish nose", too direct, no cursed fossil fuel line

Hiking on Denmarks third largest island of Funen today, I passed by one of the traditional apple farms.
Like the French have grown their wine for centuries, Denmark used to have an impressive apple export from 1,500 apple farms in the 1970s.
Nowadays, we have only 300 apple farms left, and quite many of them reside on Funen because of its optimal weather conditions. Many of the farms also grow pear trees, although apples of the Elstar sort are the dominant fruit.
Denmark has a high population density. On average, every square kilometer is inhabited by 132 people — a lot more than in Finland (16) or Norway (17).
As a consequence, the wildlife has had a hard time during the last couple of centuries. But fortunately, throughout recent years a large number of rewilding projects has transformed Denmark. Wild horses, moose and bison have been reintroduced, and the wolves have returned by themselves.
