Introductory Post 
Since I’m #NewToBlorbo and have lurked here for a week now, I may as well compose an #introduction post!
My name is Elly. I’m a 33-year-old geek, raging autist 
and genderqueer dyke (they/them) 
I’m a perpetually burnout tech worker, hobbyist, and longtime fandom weirdo.
I’m also biromantic and aegosexual, which basically means “asexual who’s only interest in sex if it’s spicy scenarios between fictional characters.” Naturally, I thoroughly enjoy shipping characters in queer ways, lol. Only recently have I embrace “fujin”and “himejin” as self-identifiers. BL, GL, HL…I’m an equal opportunity shipper!
I’ve been part of online fandoms since I was an awkward closeted tween, mainly those for anime and manga. While my interests, gender identity, beliefs and platforms of choice would shift over the years, thar aspect of my Internet habits never really did. I love media analysis and infodumping (this habit lends itself to tag-rambling if you’re a Tumblr user). I still draw fanart and write fanfiction, albeit sporadically, but would really love to do so more often!
My current fandom of focus is #Eyeshield21 (00s era shonen manga that’s basically The Bad News Bears, but with American football). But I’ve also been active in the #Dorohedoro, #DetectiveConan, #OnePiece and #OnePunchMan fandoms on-and-off as well.
I mainly enjoy older anime/manga from the 80s, 90s and 00s, preferably shonen and seinen. But I do keep up with recent titles as well, such as #ChainsawMan, #DanDaDan, and #DungeonMeshi.
Aside from these, my interests include Japanese language + culture, comics/sequential art studies, horror movies, amateur web design, drawing, writing, and dopamine dressing + decor.
I think that’s it for now! I’m most likely going to re-write this post, and will later try to do one on various blorbos, crushes, and ships I love. It’s a pleasure to meet all of you!

Just finished watching #Dandadan and #TengokuDaimakyo this week and they're both super, super good - esp the latter, which I totally did not expect despite the hype it got when it was airing. Reminds me of the excitement/intrigue I had when I first watched #ThePromisedNeverland, tho that #anime turned out to be super disappointing pretty quickly past the first season.

"Dandadan: wasted good animation"
There are some really cool animated scenes, kudos to the animators. Too bad it was wasted in a story that seems to give more importance to rape and genitals than an actual story.
Hace eones que la fusión dejó de ser original. El que tardamos en ver los hilos de la marioneta. La fusión nunca fue transgresora, solo lo ha sido el desarrollo, sin restar valía con esto a las ideas y argumentos. El mérito no está en la chispa sino en controlar la llama.
Sin embargo, ese deseo de ser punk (un beso, Belén) para epatar (el tuit, el gif) sigue presente. Lo punk nunca es calculado.
¿Y si mezclamos en una historia extraterrestres con fantasmas en el instituto? ¡Agitemos la BatiCao!:
Dan Da Dan (2024).
Ayase es desenvuelta en clase, le va bien, y vive con su abuela espiritista sin creer en esas mierdas, pasa de su culo. Oculto vive para los misterios del espacio exterior y es solitario. Un encuentro paranormal les une. Los conocimientos de Oculto por fin resultan ser útiles y Ayase... ¡heredó los poderes mentales de la familia!
Luego, correrías varias. Mucha acción (¿cómo aguantan esas palizas sin escudos ni armaduras?) no siempre bien medida. Las escenas tienden a ser largas y, de repente, resolverse. El leit motiv suele ser recuperar el pene y los cojoncillos de Oculto, prontamente amputados por marcianos. Los extraterrestres adoran las brencas humanas (¡!).
Además, se muestran muchos cuerpos sexys... dentro del canon, blancos y esbeltos, sobre todo femeninos. Sí, la abuela también tiene un arriquitaun (y la mejor personalidad del anime). De hecho, el chiste de mostrar cacho agota al tercer episodio.
Dan Da Dan es interesante. Cuando quiere sabe ser ágil y tiene cosmogonía suficiente para dar más sí, pero se enfoca en buscar el meme. No necesita ser punk, le urge decidir qué quiere ser. Toda esa sexualidad con la que pretende ser malota (encima hay amor romántico...) está desfasada -o debería-, ni siquiera hay deseos diversos, eso hasta Shin Chan (1992) lo hizo mejor, y mucho antes.
