The access to and ability to store the books is frankly astounding. Tiny little 10inch display that I can carry almost all the time practically has all the books, and supplementary materials! Nuts.

I haven't yet figured out how to replicate having many books open at the same time with this digital approach. Acquiring 5 tablets sounds wrong.

@codingquark A pocket projector could do the trick, but I cannot think of a way to display five books simultaneously.

@3jman that's neat idea, I didn't think of it. I'll give it a try and see if it can be useful for reading. On a second thought, having a display sounds better...

@codingquark I was thinking of something more portable, that you could for example set up inside a coffee shop, granted that it would be socially acceptable.

@3jman @codingquark a mini projector might not be “socially acceptable”, but if you’re considerate in how you use it, it’s also unlikely to be a problem. You might get some weird looks from the normies

@calcifer @codingquark Yes but that would still require some way to display five different pdfs, ideally with scrolling control, in a tablet.
