This coin has a coat of arms on it, featuring a simple shield with a cross on it, and quite a crowd, or four at least, animals / figures around the outside of it. Not quite anepigraphic, it does have one piece of text on it: 1975.

Does anyone know what this is? I bought a bag of sewing notions at the thrift store today. The brassy ring can be squeezed. The red and white cylinder has numbers — the white toothed wheel turns 0-9.

I got a coin recently, and I wonder if you can guess where it is from? Some things about it:
- It is dated 1776
- It wasn't expensive, not gold or silver, or a pattern etc
- It's a small, regular issue coin from where it is from
- It's an interesting denomination
