It's even worse. They're not only happy to profit off disinformation and hate they:
- are tuning their algorithms to radicalise people to consume *more* disinfo and hate
- are collecting and selling user data to *anyone* willing to pay for it. Some just want to sell you product. Some want your vote to destroy enemies or democracy
It's past time to #RegulateSocialMedia

Violent extremist who helped instigate riots not only radicalising on Twitter ...but PAID by Twitter to do it.
Surely if Twitter pays for a service, it is liable for the damage it causes.
