Is it just me or is there like no research in #LFG on disjunct #adverbials? I found an MPhil thesis on the typology and placement possibilities of #adverbs in English (ora.ox.ac.uk/objects/uuid:d808), but that explicitly excludes comma-intonated adverbials like sentence adverbials and other disjuncts. A subsequent paper on disjuncts specifically is referenced (Cobb 2006), but it was apparently never published.

Weekend tinkering: build an absolutely non-THX-certified #Dolby #Atmos 7.1.4 setup with nothing but the Music app, Audio Midi Setup (AMS) and a bunch of disparate DACs, amps and speakers all handling some of the 12 channels. The relative magic here is that AMS will do the appropriate Atmos decoding which allows mapping of 5.1.2 or 7.1.4 channels to output devices of choice, grouped in an arbitrary aggregate virtual output device. Afterwards all that's left is a little latency correction with #AudioHijack and we're off! #LFG
