It's about time that #Signal is working on features to manage #groupchats with parallel discussions. 
It is really a drag when there are multiple threads ongoing at the same time. Although the tech could handle Signal group #chats with more than maybe ten people, the UX prevents me from participating.
The bummer was when we left #Usenet. Almost any issue with online discussions was solved beautifully back then. Then we started to come up with mediocre and primitive alternatives.

I remember when #Signal did a good #E2EE Messenger (#TextSecure) and that had a reason to use #PhoneNumbers as it merely encrypted #SMS, but that OFC has other issues.

Please, my biggest problem with #Gajim is that I can't delete #groupchats that I've mistakenly made. It doesn't matter if I edit the configuration files in .config. Nothing I've tried even remotely works. I know that only a few of use Gajim anymore but so you have a solution to my dilemma? Those documents, if out there, existing, are well hidden. #gajim
