Looks like spring's here to stay - finally!
We've got a couple of honey bees visiting our garden on the regular, they come and drink form the little creek we've built there and take some nectar home on their way back.

Muscari neglectum or armeniacum. Remnants of years past flower bed cleaning and the weedy, grassy waste dumped on an hillside that isn't watered so the bishops weed and such can't survive, but these did, and one daffodil.

They get no irrigation, it is a south facing slope with no shade in silty sand, yet here they are thriving except for the false spring then 20F that frosted all their tips, but the blooms are emerging!

The flower stalks pushing up in the center of a Grape Hyacinth. The tips of most of the leaves are dead from frost. There is a little blue showing on the flower buds. The leaves and the internet make ID uncertain. neglectum or armeniacum probably.
An overview shot of the area where these are growing. Next to a rock (big surprise), above a brush heap that is along the rock, to their right some native plants, plus grass. This area does not get watered and would be dust dry mid April until fall with many 100+F days in recent years.
