Recently went to a mesh night at #Foulab and got to play with Reticulum over the internet and #LoRa and now I am hooked.

The Foulab Hackerspace (in the Saint-Henri neighborhood of Montreal) has open nights on Tuesday and Thursdays from 6:30pm to 11pm. Hack/Chill/Socialize!

I am currently preparing a one-shot for the Mothership RPG that I will run next Sunday at Montreal's Foulab hackerspace (November 26, 2023).

To psyche myself up, I watched Alien and Aliens in the dark. That was enjoyable. I also flipped through the campaign material and looked at many spaceship and space station maps online. Didn't feel much inspiration from these activities.

I was pleasantly surprised to have found the random tables in the core books and A Pound of Flesh supplement to be the most inspiring and useful for prep. I think they are well thought out, and designed by people who are intimate with the source material but are also able to extrapolate *other* interesting bits of situation and setting from it.

I am currently deciding between a high security corporate mining vault or a prison colony that was overtaken by cultists.

I will finish this very nice day with an announcement about a monthly RPG event I will be hosting at Foulab in Saint-Henri (in Montreal). It is called Killed By Diodes.

The idea is that I will prepare and run a one-shot of a different science fiction role-playing game every month. Everything needed to play will be provided. Space for this game is limited but people are welcome to come and play a game of their choosing or just hang out. Beginners are welcome and encouraged.

The first event will occur on November 26th, starting at 3pm.
