As I mentioned, I'm old. I was old before I transitioned. Among the reasons is #Patriarchy. I carefully examined myself and my life to reassure myself that I was not operating from internalized #Misogyny. Because the patriarchy doesn't need my help to keep going.
So now I'm trying to be kind of man I want see in the world.

I'm /old/. I've known /many/ men. And, as a generalization, men /are/ assholes.
That said, he was an example of being the kind of man he wanted to see in the world.
When Tim Walz and Beto O'Rourke had a #TownHall in Troy Nehls' district last week, I saw the same kind of #masculinity.
Because people aren't #born assholes. It's a #choice they make.
