In April 131 AD, grief-stricken #Hadrian visited #Cyprus, birthplace of #Venus #Aphrodite. Cyprus is where the famous Curium Hymnus inscription was found which describes the hair color of #Antinous. The Greek text says his hair is "Porphyriopa" (purple) which suggests dark with reddish-brown highlights.
