#Anno1800 really got its claws into me the past few weekends. I've never played anything in the Anno series before, and I was expecting just another city builder game with a quaint period setting. On the surface it _is_ a pretty city builder, but there’s an engaging layer of micro-managing complex production chains and trade routes, and a little sprinkle of real-time-strategy naval combat.

Bonus: I'm tickled that there's a 1st person mode, something I always wanted in city builders growing up.

a) ökonomisch profitabel ist und

b) abseits vom fraglos vorhandenen künstlerischen Wert keinen überdurchschnittlichen Bildungswert im Vergleich zu anderen Spielen hat und

c) dessen Publisher nicht in DE Steuern zahlt

vom Bund finanziell gefödert werden muss?
