So what game did Jean Lecomte de Noüy think Ramses played in his harem when he painted this in 1885?

The board is its own table, a few inches thick and raised a few inches off the ground. The gaming surface seems to be divided into 1x2 rectangles with their short sides facing the two opposite players. The game pieces are blue and yellow, and look like salt shakers or daleks. Each player has seven pieces of their own color. The back row of the board has a larger area, where maybe pieces love when they are not in play?

@Log3overLog2 I don't know ancient games as well as medieval / renaissance ones, but my off-the-cuff guess would be that he was thinking of Senet: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Senet
