Walter S.Looks like a bee, but this is mimicry.The large bee-flies (Bombylus major) are always fun to watch. Dabei ist die Welt der Sechsbeiner und Co mehr als faszinierend. DennisOne of my personal favorite insects is the bee fly. Elbwiese<a href="https://fnordon.de/tags/Insekten" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Insekten</a> im <a href="https://fnordon.de/tags/Garten" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Garten</a>, <a href="https://fnordon.de/tags/Wollschweber" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Wollschweber</a>: Vor ca. 10 Tagen fotografierte ich einen in der Luft stehenden Wollschweber, heute waren es an selber Stelle fünf, sie schienen sich zu jagen (Paarungsritual). Es gibt sie in meinem Garten seit 2-3 Jahren, vermutlich Großer Wollschweber. Manche Wollschweberinnen *schießen* ihre Eier vor die Eingänge der Wirtstiere. Die Larven kriechen in die Baue, fressen erst die Vorräte, dann die Wirtslarven. <a href="https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wollschweber" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wollschweber</a>
