I don't like no win scenarios.</p><p>I'm an <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/Atheist" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Atheist</span></a> (put a pin in that) who has been granted <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/Salvation" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Salvation</span></a> by accepting the Lord Jesus Christ into my heart and being baptized at First Baptist Church, Main Street, Downtown El Paso, TX almost 4 decades prior. It's probably in their records. I wore the mystical white robe, walked into the holy hot tub, and got dunked right into the queue for <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/Heavenly" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Heavenly</span></a> admission.</p><p>I was a tween when I chose God. I believed in them then. I don't now. Now I'm a <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/Saganist" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Saganist</span></a> with an atheist-scientist bias. But I'd be deceiving myself foremost if I didn't acknowledge that Saganism is ultimately theistic. So I no longer identify as an atheist as of like a few days ago. Atheism is where my heart will remain always. But because words mean things, if all I've done is swap out holy spirit for faith in free will abiding within <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/quantum" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>quantum</span></a> <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/superdeterminism" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>superdeterminism</span></a> … well, what is that but textbook theism?</p>
