TomA garter snake I guess. I was digging out an old compost heap yesterday and came across a clutch of, what I assume to be, Grass Snake eggs. (I'm in north west England)They are an odd colour and very early so I'm guessing they are from last year and failed to hatch due to the cold, wet summer we had. Is there any way to ascertain whether they are still viable?
