Boris Kretzinger<p>"Can Atari K-O 3DO?" Well, we know the answer to that. But in December 1993, that was indeed a good question asked in this headline inside of Popular Science. At that time, it's wasn't already clear just how limited the Jaguar's launch would turn out to be, and even after that, the Jag sold a bit better than the 3DO for some months - which isn't much, still 😅. Also, this little bit was placed in an article about the 3DO, and you gotta agree that this picture of their crew is great! </p><p>So celebrate the Jaguar's 30th anniversary, enjoy the good and mediocre games, heck, maybe even some of the not-so-good ones. And remember that the Jag had a lot of potential and did not start out as a flop. If you want to read more about its history, you might like to look at my book Clipped Claws. It's free.
