Their <a href="https://biologists.social/tags/larvae" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>larvae</span></a>, as a <a href="https://biologists.social/tags/saprophagous" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>saprophagous</span></a> developmental stage, feed on dead wood or other decomposing plant <a href="https://biologists.social/tags/debris" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>debris</span></a>. The author, C. H.
