royalFor about a year my kid (11) and I have been reading The Lord of the Rings at bedtime. I last read it decades ago, so in some ways it's like reading these books for the first time myself.We just started Book 6, which is, I think, the last half of The Return of the King.He has not seen the films. Not till the books are completely finished.What's next for us after this? I feel like we're about to end a circumnavigation of the globe and we're looking for a Next Big Thing. Another epic fantasy series.
