Kevin McPeake ✅<p>While USB-Passthrough for an <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/SDR" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SDR</span></a> dongle can be one way to implement <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/ADSB" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ADSB</span></a> on VMs, it also ties that specific VM down to the physical VM host where the SDR dongle is installed in. For those that need (live) migration support between VM hosts, USB-over-IP is another option without giving up VM migration / failover features. Sysload on my RPI3 dropped from 1.5 - 2 down to 0.5-0.6 on average. And my VM host barely noticed the extra load. <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/XCPNG" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>XCPNG</span></a> <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/Xen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Xen</span></a> <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/Xenserver" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Xenserver</span></a></p>
