Otoh, tbh, having now read the minimal info at that link, i'm not interested. With my <a href="https://aus.social/tags/uBlockOrigin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#uBlockOrigin</a> set in Advanced mode, my custom <a href="https://aus.social/tags/userJS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#userJS</a>, & the other native attributes, i remain happy with the privacy capability of my :firefox_nightly: However, building upon this base, these days i am also interested in forks that enhance the FF UI, to deliver a better UX. That was why, a few weeks ago, i began testing <a href="https://aus.social/tags/PulseBrowser" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#PulseBrowser</a> & <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Floorp" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Floorp</a>. The latter is simply amazingly good [despite still comparatively early development], & so it became my new default browser, in lieu of <a href="https://aus.social/tags/FirefoxNightly" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#FirefoxNightly</a> . There's so much UI goodies to commend it [it's rather like the "Vivaldi of Gecko-land"], not only but including native <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Workspaces" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Workspaces</a>, <a href="https://aus.social/tags/VerticalTabs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#VerticalTabs</a>, <a href="https://aus.social/tags/WebPanel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#WebPanel</a>, BookmarkBar at top or bottom, BookmarkBar AutoHide when at top... I doubt that <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Mercury" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Mercury</a> is / can be more private than my Floorp [or also :firefox_nightly: ], & even if it happens to be a bit faster, i prioritise that slightly less highly than enhanced UI productivity.

Based on its extensive feature-set, IMO it's clearly the Vivaldi of the Foxes 😉 . It's exciting to now have a feature-rich <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Gecko" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Gecko</a> browser as a viable alternative to Vivaldi's <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Chromium" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Chromium</a>. Time spent within its Settings is richly rewarded. Not only for the amazing granularity of tweaks available throughout all the many Settings categories generally, but also take a look within the "Lepton" option, for even more "oh wow!" 😲 💜 For <a href="https://aus.social/tags/VerticalTabs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#VerticalTabs</a> fans, it has these natively, & also native <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Workspaces" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Workspaces</a>... & a <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Vivaldi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Vivaldi</a>-esque <a href="https://aus.social/tags/WebPanel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#WebPanel</a> ... & more! For those like me who prefer tree not flat vertical tabs, either/both <a href="https://aus.social/tags/TreeStyleTab" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#TreeStyleTab</a> / <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Sidebery" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Sidebery</a> <a href="https://aus.social/tags/AddOns" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#AddOns</a> are fine in Floorp, although sadly to do so you need to forego Floorp's native Workspaces. Luckily though, Sidebery has those. So far, i'm loving my new default daily browser, Floorp. On the negative side though, to be quite fair, i have been experiencing a little instability during some browser restarts. Also, though i suppose it makes some sense for the developers, i'm disappointed that Floorp is forked from <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Firefox" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Firefox</a> <a href="https://aus.social/tags/ESR" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#ESR</a> not plain Firefox.
