concretedog<p>Running a <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/robotics" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>robotics</span></a> workshop later this week and wanted to be able to use these much cheaper mecanum wheels with the N20 micro geared motors I tend to use on <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/StoRPer" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>StoRPer</span></a> builds. Spent some time dialling in this <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/3dprinted" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>3dprinted</span></a> adapter in <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://fosstodon.org/@FreeCAD" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>FreeCAD</span></a></span> its working well.</p>

It's pretty quick and dirty but I've put together a prototype for a "bumper" PCB. It can host bump switches at both sides and a HRS04 ultrasonic sensor module in the centre.
