Rachel WrightAmbushed down memory lane....In the long ago and far away, I did an MSc in Textile Design Technology And Design Management. One of the practicals was the design and creation of a printed panel on the theme of "Manchester". On the somewhat specious grounds that I only went to Manchester to go to the theatre, I morphed that into "Theatre", and among other things created silk screens of text from songs and speeches. We used the trial fabrics to cover seats in the sunroom, until they were recovered a few years ago. MikeOn the way back from Tai Chi this lunchtime I called into the allotment to pick up two plastic chairs that were being held together, just, with cable ties and replace them with the new ones I've had sitting in the garden few weeks. And in theory, lots of these Tesla batteries can be fixed, said Benoit, who runs one of the few Tesla-focused independent repair shops in the United States. But due to the time and training involved, the safety considerations, and the complexity of the repair, Benoit said that the bill to fix one car battery at his shop might run upwards of $10,000 — more than most consumers are willing to pay.
