Thure<p><a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/RadixUI" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RadixUI</span></a> and friends call the buttons that control popovers, menus, etc <code>Trigger</code>s. Very evocative of guns and traps, I think.</p><p>I’d always called them <code>Invoker</code>s for some reason (maybe because ‘opener’ is ambiguous with ‘introduction’, and ‘controller’ is overloaded by the various MVC dogmata). ‘Invoker’ feels more magical, in a chaotic-neutral kind of way…</p>
