Luci Scissorsit’s not that I think women are untouchable or always have good opinions. in a lot of cases women have opinions just as shitty as any man’s because that’s true equality!it’s that as a cis man, choosing to call out a woman, the power dynamic involved in this action is not a neutral element, and it’s a particular problem on fediverse that quite a lot of the men here (<a href="https://queer.party/tags/notAllMen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#notAllMen</a>) feel disproportionately compelled to make sure women are put in their place to maintian their status. They might not even realise that’s what they’re doing because patriarchy and misogyny is so fucking baked into our society and culture this shit is almost invisible.to the men who reflexively do this it may seem like just a normal reasonable thing to do
