Looks like a designer <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/Ladybug" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Ladybug</a> but in fact those are beetles and this one is a <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/TrueBug" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#TrueBug</a> ! Sehirus cinctus ssp. albonotatus the White-margined Burrower Bug. They feed on plant matter, especially nettle and mint family, they say (though neither near this one, I think) but not to the extent that I'd notice or be worried. cohanLast Friday I did a couple of hours of <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/RockGarden" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#RockGarden</a> work- with Pearly for support + lots of little critters seen including maybe a half dozen different kinds of spiders- most didn't sit still for portraits, sadly, but I got a couple! I was playing Tetr.io's new(ish) Zenith Tower mode, where the goal is to climb as high as you can. I'd chosen a long-term goal of reaching 1 kilometer on the tower. Unfortunately, while some of my runs get past 700 meters, one run that I streamed on Piczel fell apart before I'd gotten out of the first floor at 50 meters. This led to plenty of lighthearted teasing about how that's still big for a self-proclaimed minidrake, even if it's very insignificant compared to the deities that tend to hang out in Maggie's streams and server.I did not expect Maggie to actually commemorate that with a silly little sketch, but I'm glad she did. This one however was actually moving, though slowly (a handful of degrees C above freezing that day- warm for the season, but not summer temps).
