Rüdiger BenninghausThe Crane Gate (Brama Żuraw) on the Motława (Mottlau) River in Gdańsk/ Danzig (northern Poland) is the city's most famous landmark. It was built between 1442-1444 on the site of a burnt-down predecessor building.<br>
