screw_dog<p>So proud of child. Today he wrote code to convert ints to roman numerals in <a href="https://aus.social/tags/CSharp" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CSharp</span></a> and in the process implemented an algorithm I haven't seen before.</p><p>He had to practice writing out roman numerals by hand until he got the hang of it, then implemented his method in code using string substitution (!)</p><p>I helped him to keep on track and debug but all the ideas and implementation was him.
